Peterborough Public Health has resumed online vaccination bookings for people 80 and older in the community, the health unit reported Wednesday morning.
The provincial COVax system had temporarily stopped taking bookings Tuesday afternoon because of technical issues after all the slots at the Evinrude Centre mass vaccination clinics were taken up while the system wasn’t set up yet to allow bookings to be made at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre and Norwood Community Centre clinics.
Those issues have now been resolved and appointments for people 80 and older can again be booked at ontario.ca/bookvaccine or by calling 249-494-5631.
The health unit is advising people not to call the Evinrude Centre directly to either book or cancel an appointment.
