SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – The Springfield-Greene County Health Department announced the death of one Greene County resident from COVID-19.
Health leaders reported the loss between Wednesday, March 10 and Tuesday, March 16. The latest victim is a man in his 60s. He suffered from an underlying condition. County health leaders report a total of 422 deaths since the pandemic.
Total number of COVID-19 deaths in Greene County by age group:
20s: 1 death
30s: 2 deaths
40s: 7 deaths
50s: 23 deaths
60s: 48 deaths
70s: 115 deaths
80s: 135 deaths
90s: 85 death
100s: 6 deaths
A total of 28,074 cases have been reported in Greene County since the pandemic, with 448 of those cases in March. The latest seven-day average is 25.
